Absolutely! It's easy to switch/port-in your old phone number to Fidelitel. Before you get started, make sure your cell phone is unlocked if you plan on using it with Fidelitel Line. If you're worried about how to switch, give us a call and we'll help make it easy to switch over.

Absolutely! Our network works with almost all unlocked phones that have SIM slot. If you bring your own phone, please check if your phone is compatible with Fidelitel network.

We offer UNLIMITED TEXT on all our plans. There is currently no way to add more DATA or MIN ONLY to your plan. If you have used up your allocated data and still need more, you will need to purchase another plan. But we’re working on developing the Top Up feature to add more Data and Minutes.
Note: To avoid any future disruptions, we recommend you sign up to Auto Recharge and you will be automatically be billed based on the plan of your choosing. If you’d like to recharge online with a credit or debit card, please login to your account and click “Recharge” button. Also, when your account balance reaches $0, your services are interrupted (except calls to 911).

A no data connection error can be the result of a basic software glitch, damaged hardware, or even a system-wide outage that renders the entire mobile network unavailable. Fidelitel is powered by T-Mobile which has a large and reliable nationwide network. First things we recommend you should try to use Wi-Fi calling - But if there's a complete network outage, then even Wi-Fi calling won't be able to help you. Wi-Fi calling will help you when you're just in a bad network coverage area, or there's a local issue with a specific tower your phone's trying to connect to. Try following below general troubleshooting steps:

  • Be sure to check your device settings to make sure airplane mode is off and data roaming is turned on. In network settings, the Network mode should be set to auto.
  • Make sure that cellular data is enabled.
  • Try turning off your device, wait a few minutes, and then turn your device on again.
  • Ensure that your SIM card is properly installed and hasn't come loose.
  • Reset your network settings and check for an update.
If you’ve checked to make sure your phone's settings are set right, you've confirmed you're well within Fidelitel 4G coverage, and there's no reported of network outage in your area — and yet you're still struggling with network issues. Please contact Fidelitel support and will help you further troubleshoot any issues with your service.

Fidelitel Wireless is powered by T-Mobile which has a large and most reliable 4G/5G LTE nationwide network. Though, there are still a few gaps in coverage and not all areas are completely serviced with data. You can browse around the COVERAGE MAP  and zoom in to see the specific coverage provided in your area, or search by address, city, or zip code.

If you recharge before your airtime expires, any unused balance will be carried over and your expiration will be extended to your new expiration date.

It’s more common for many subscribers to exceed their data cap on their wireless plan. This includes when they are using their device as a Mobile Hotspot, surfing the Internet, Play Games, Streaming Audio or Video, Checking Emails, backing up/syncing content with cloud storage, HD Video Calling or using apps (e.g., maps, or social apps etc.) and more.

Here are few steps to take to reduce data usage:

  • Make sure Data Saver Mode is activated.
  • Ensures that apps and services that are not being actively used are restricted to stream data in the background.
  • Set your device up on your home and work Wi-Fi networks (i.e. Connect to available Wi-Fi networks to prevent from using so much data on your wireless plan and as a bonus will save precious battery power).

NOTE: You can check your data balance by texting the word “balance” to ***** or login to your customer porta and you’ll see your data usage on dashboard.

At Fidelitel Wireless, we DO NOT throttle any data speed on any plan. We give our customers the option of flexibility and to avoid being overcommitted to a higher data plan every month. When you purchase our plans, your speed will be uncapped from the beginning of your bill and usage period all the way until you run out of data or the end of your bill period. If you reach your data limit, your data is shut off. However, if you’d like to continue with our service you can login and recharge your account for the next 30 days.

In order for your phone to use apps, the internet, and or receive multimedia messages, you will need to configure your phone. SIM card must be inserted before any APN edits or adding APN setting.

For Android or Apple device, follow the step-by-step instructions below.

Android

Android – 8.0 (Oreo), 7.0 (Nougat), 6.0 (Marshmallow), 5.0 (Lolly Pop), 4.2 (Jelly Bean), 4.1 (Ice Cream Sandwich) & 4.0 (Kit Katt) – Internet and MMS

  1. Pull down the notifications screen & tap on Settings
  2. Tap on Mobile Data (some phones say “more”)
  3. Tap Mobile Networks (some phones have “Access Point Names” here)
  4. Tap Access Point Names
  5. Press the menu button
  6. Select New APN

From the home screen

  1. Press Menu

    • Check that “Airplane mode” and “Wi-Fi” are unchecked

  6. Delete all existing APNs

For Samsung Behold II,dial *#87927# and skip to step 5.

  1. Press the menu.

  3. Tap Wireless Controls or Wireless & Networks.

  5. Check that:
    • “Data Roaming” and “Use Only 2G Networks” are both unchecked.

  1. Go to "Settings", tap on WiFi and temporarily turn it OFF
  2. Back in "Settings", scroll down to "Messages" and tap to open it. Make sure MMS is OFF
  3. Go back to "Settings", tap on "General" and then "Cellular". Make sure "Enable 3G" is OFF & "Data Roaming" is ON.
  4. Scroll down & tap on "Cellular Data Network"
  5. Under "Cellular Data Network" put in the following:
    • Cellular Data APN: pwg
    • MMS APN: pwg
    • MMSC: http://pwg.mmsmvno.com/mms/wapenc
    • MMS Max Message Size: 1048576
    • MMS UA Prof URL: http://www.apple.com/mms/uaprof.rdf
    • Leave all other fields blank
  6. Click on the Home button to go back to the main phone screen
  7. Go back to "Settings" one more time, scroll down and tap on "Messages" and turn it ON
  8. Press the Home button and you're set to send & receive MMS on PWG
  9. Once you have set it up and tested to see it works, you can re-enable WiFi, turn off Data Roaming and turn on 3G

Apple iPhone - Enabling 4G LTE on iOS Version 8

  1. Go to Home Screen
  2. Open Settings
  3. Select Cellular
  4. Select Enable LTE Switch
  5. Select Enable LTE
  6. LTE now enabled
